Arts Centre Christchurch

Once the home of the University of Canterbury, the Arts Centre Christchurch is a vibrant hub of creativity and culture in the heart of the city. This stunning collection of Gothic Revival buildings was beautifully restored after the 2011 earthquakes, and today it buzzes with artists' studios, galleries, boutique shops, and eateries. Wandering through its cobbled courtyards and ivy-clad stone arches feels like stepping into a living museum, where the past and present of Christchurch's artistic soul intertwine.
